We’re looking for a lifeguard! 

The Lab is Philadelphia’s first all-inclusive, concierge health and human performance company. Our mobile model exceeds the boundaries of commercial gyms by  cultivating strategic partnerships with some of Greater Philadelphia's most prestigious academic institutions, ultra-luxury hotels, and urban residential developments in order to conveniently provide personal wellness solutions to our community. As our next Concierge Lifeguard, you will be: 

  • Supervising patrons of all ages while enforcing pool rules and regulations

  • Maintaining constant surveillance and awareness of patrons in the water

  • Providing appropriate care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency  medical personnel 

  • Acting quickly and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of  an emergency and performing appropriate rescues 

  • Presenting a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times, and maintaining a high standard of customer service 

  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, such as assisting in kids' lab  classes or camps that align with your availability, completing checklists as required, working special events as needed

Qualifications: 

  • A valid lifeguard certification 

  • CPR/AED/First Aid certified 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills 

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities 

  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations 

  • Interest in learning how to teach swim lessons to various ages, preferred
